Background

Emma Slade Edmondson heads up ESE Consultancy, a creative strategic marketing agency working to elevate brands, initiatives and organisations who are looking to focus their business for positive impact and social and environmental good.

Emma is renowned for her transformational approach to retail marketing and behaviour change and has worked with some of the UK’s biggest brands, charities and social enterprises such as Cancer Research UK, Shelter, Westfield, Universal and Mayamiko. Her projects are regularly featured in both UK and international press, including publications such as The Guardian, Huffington Post, Vogue, Grazia, Telegraph and many more...

Emma is also the creative strategist behind successful campaigns that celebrate thoughtful fashion consumption, including Charity Fashion Live & The Love Not Landfill pop-up stores and campaign.

Emma brings over a decade of experience and knowledge developed not just through running her consultancy, but through working at some of the foremost global advertising and marketing agencies including AMV BBDO, Proximity (Omnicom), The & Partnership and Wieden + Kennedy. During that time she’s worked across multiple industries, from fashion and FMCG, to automotive and finance.

On top of her campaign work, Emma is regularly invited to speak at events and conferences such as Retail Week, Drapers Sustainability Conference, and The Impact Summit Glasgow. Invitations have also included being an opinion leader on Channel 5 news, participation on The Fringe of It podcast in conversation with H&M, and hosting the book launch for Lauren Bravo’s ‘How to Break up with Fast Fashion’.

Due to her unique combination of knowledge around the conscious consumer and the inner workings of business driven by ethics and not just profit-Emma is regularly called upon to speak at retail and business industry events and in conscious sustainable lifestyle forums. Emma has spoken for Retail Week, Pure London, Drapers, The Fringe of It x H&M Conscious, and Know The Origin to name a few. Emma is also a Ted x Speaker.
